Super excited to announce that I’ll be playing a couple of shows during the CMA Music Festival, if you are one of the over 80,000 fans coming to Nashville, I hope to see you! Back to the shows, the first one is June 4th at Maxwell’s Lounge at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville which will kick off at 8 PM with myself and my talented friends Matt Bednarsky (Folk-pop singer-songwriter with NYC influences), Kenny Foster (Country-rock singer-songwriter recently featured by GoDaddy during the Superbowl), and the fantastic new indie folk duo Cross Canyons (Michael Shoup & Josh Hoke).
On June 6th come join us for a special CMA Music Festival week writer’s round also at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel but this will be an outdoor show in the hotel’s beautiful pavilion. As part of a whole day of music our round will be at 2 PM featuring myself, Kenny Foster, Matt Bednarsky, Scottish singer-songwriter Sean Kennedy (2012 London Olympics), and a special guest.

Growing up in a small farm community in Southeast Manitoba, Jason Kirkness found his heart in country music, since heavily influenced by the new Nashville sound. A songwriter by nature, his first full-lenth album “Life on the Road” was released to radio in 2011. Jason has performed hundreds of shows throughout Manitoba and Canada including opening for George Canyon, Dwight Yoakum, The Roadhammers and Deric Ruttan.
2011 Winner of the Canadian Radio Star National Songwriting Competition, Winnipeg born Heather Longstaffe is a dynamite presence on stage. Describing herself as the musical love child of Shania Twain and Celine Dion she is sure to impress. Recently signed with EMI Canada, performing and writing in Nashville and Los Angeles, keep your eye out for her newly released video and single “Gonna Take A Woman”.
