Ashley is performing at Tootsies Orchid Lounge Sunday June 13, 2010 beginning at 6 pm as part of the Billy Block show, as well as the final night of CMA Fest. You can listen live here to catch Ashley’s performance!

Ashley Robertson is proud to announce the release of a brand new single to Canadian radio called “Back in Manitoba”.  Ashley’s music combines contemporary country, roots and folk to craft a unique sound and this single is no exception. Written and performed by Ashley Robertson about her home province, with the approval of the Manitoba Homecoming committee, this special release celebrates the Manitoba Homecoming 2010 with a song about coming back to your roots. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I hope you are all doing wonderful and enjoying the coming of spring. I’ve been hard at work in Music City and also having lots of fun. I finished recording four brand new tunes and am also happy to report that my current single “Woman in the White Dress” has been well received at radio in Canada and abroad. Right now it is in the Top Ten on the National Aboriginal Top 30 Countdown which is broadcast nationwide. Please continue to request it and hopefully it will hit number one! On the shows front, I had an awesome time playing the Bluebird Cafe. It was great to play at such a historic venue with some really great female artists. The band was rockin’ too and the house was packed! I’ll post some photos soon as well as some more from my European tour this summer. I also have been selected by SOCAN and Billy Block to play a showcase at 12th & Porter which will be broadcast live in Nashville so stay tuned for more info on that!

In the meantime, I’ll be songwriting with some fun people and doing a little more work in the studio. Definitely STILL seeing some dreams come true! Thanks so much to radio, fans and of course YOU for supporting me and my music. I love you all and here’s to an awesome spring!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and a very Happy New Year. Are you looking forward to 2010? For my music, 2009 was a very exciting year full of building and progress. I got to play some very fun shows and tour across Europe and Canada. I have so many people to be thankful for helping to make it a great year!

But, 2010 is going to be even better! I have been back in the studio working on brand new music that I am very excited about, so I’ll keep you all updated. Also, my album is available NOW in CD Plus stores across Canada, so please check it out! All my music is also available online at ITunes or other digital retailers.

In the near future, we are preparing for the worldwide radio release of the title track from my latest album, “Woman in the White Dress” as well as the music video. I’m also lining up some really great gigs and am proud to announce that I will be playing a show at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville on Feb.11th.

Definitely seeing some dreams come true! Thanks so much to radio, fans and of course YOU for supporting me and my music. I love you all and here’s to a great 2010!!
